Today I will provide you with a full review, walk you through how this works and how it will work for you. I will eventually make a full guide on how I use this software as well so stay tuned for that.

Binary Brain Wave Introduction
Now I will walk you through my experience with the binary brain wave software.
Often the process with a new software can be very difficult, but this is not the case with the brain wave. This software comes with a setup file which can be double clicked and will install the software for you. The members area is also very well laid out and provides you with easy to follow descriptions of the installation and how to trade the signals.
Here is a screen shot from the brain wave members area that shows the clickable tabs and areas that can be expanded to show more information.
The bottom line is the installation process is very simple (took me 5 minutes) and you aren’t required to sign up with a broker to gain access to the software. Which is a big plus in my eyes.
Binary Brain Wave Video
In this video I show you the site, the members area, the software, a real signal and live trade.
Binary Brain Wave Signals
The quality of these signals are excellent.
They have a very profound strategy that uses multiple indicators to filter out bad conditions and give you many different options. The strategy uses the 5 minute chart, and sends signals nearly every hour at the same time, 50 minutes after the hour. The expiry time is also 100% specific so you know exactly when to place the trade.
You would get this signal at 23:50 you would place a CALL trade and you would set the expiry for 40 minutes after, in this case 0:30. This makes it very simple to place your trade because there is no work required on your part except for placing the trade.
Binary brain wave signals come in three different ways:
- In MT4 on chart
- In MT4 in experts tab
This way you never miss a signal. Since there are very frequently signals with this software I tend to just trade right off the chart so that I can use my own knowledge in the trading process. In the trade example above we can see that the market is ranging which is when this software is the most effective. They talk about this more in the members area so even though they filter out bad conditions you can spot them yourself as well.
Important aspects of the binary brain wave software:
- Trades 6 Pairs (EUR/USD, AUD/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, EUR/JPY, NZD/USD)
- Provides signals in all sessions
- Free installation and 24/7 support
- No required broker signup
- Provides over 10 signals per day
- Hitting over 80% accuracy for the past two years
- Free upgrades for life and no upsells (one time fee)
My Binary Brain Wave Results
I have been testing this software for the past 6 months and I have had outstanding success. Keep in mind I don’t trade every single signal they provide. I have a family, this web site, my own manual trading and other responsibilities. The stats are provided in W (Wins) – L (Losses).

Binary Brain Wave Conclusion
I am really happy to see a software as strong as the binary brain wave force it’s way onto the market. This is the type of software that all developers should be focused on designing. It is complex in strategy but simple in utility.
I recommend this software officially to all readers of Binary Today. I have gone out of my way to find a discount coupon they will be honoring for the first few copies sold, I will try to get it extended if I can.

Hi Jennifer,
Great results so far!
Question : By sweetspots you mean round numbers?
Kind regards,
Dennis
Hey John,
Are you or anyone else on this excellent forum receiving the BrainWave email alerts? I can not use MT4 at work though can check the FX Street live charts. So I would want the email alerts sent through and then I can qualify them and this lets me trade the whole day at work. .
I was trying to use the new version of BOB and the email alerts, yet it would not work :(
Cheers
Dave
Yes Brainwave email alerts work.
BOB will fix email alerts soon, MT4 update messed it up.
Have been trading BBW since it came out. From the trades I have tracked, taking everything will generate around 65% win rate. Being selective may boost that to 80% or higher.
Here is a real simple way to test BBW and learn when to take the signal and when not to take the signal. Because BBW generates signals on the open of the HH:50 candle, I put either a up arrow (Call) or down arrow (Put) above that candle, depending on the BBW generated signal direction for that pair. Then after the HH:30 minute candle opens, I put either a Tick (won) or X (loss) above the HH:30 candle.
Do this, over a week, for a many hours, during the EU/UK/US sessions as you can. Then look back at the Ticks (Wins) and X (Losses). Very quickly you will learn to read the charts and understand when to take and not take the BBW trade signals.
Also developed a simple Pinger Indicator that alerts you at HH:48 and HH:49 minutes after the hour (or what you set into the Indicator) so you can stop what ever you are doing and get to your screen to see and maybe take the BBW signals.
Hello,
Fxphil I love what you are saying here but I don’t know how to read chart.
so please can you further explain this to me i’m new to binary and forex training. if you give more guide on this i will drop my email here by permission!
Watch the videos in the members area.
This is a great review and seems like a good product. When these guys state they are 84% accurate in 2014, does that mean that 84% of the signals they’ve generated this year are ITM signals? I’m fairly new to trading but I’m comfortable with some basic technical analysis. I’ve struggled making profits thus far so I’m quite intrigued about the potential in this software. Thanks and keep the reviews coming!
Hi Ryan, they only require the most basic analysis in deciding whether or not to trade the signals. Thanks for the kind words!
hi guys I just star 2 weeks a go I trade all the signals and when I said all I said all of them so 10 to 12 signals a day I make 300$ usd a this point with brain wave yess…..
Hi John, firstly, you have a great site & I very much appreciate all the advice and honesty you provide.
I was reading you binary trading guide and you recommend BOB for signals.
With your latest review of Brain Wave, would you now recommend it over BOB for a beginner?
Thanks, Jason
Yes. I’m leaning to Brain wave right now.
Hi John, just trying to purchase BBW through your website via the the discount code, keep giving me a message that the code is invalid, does this mean the discount is over? I have sent an email to BBW support asking the same.
PS mate love your site and your reviews so hard to find any decent advice on binary options these days is refreshing to see not all onliners are out for the quick buck, thanks for any advice in advance.
Try 0 instead of O or copy and paste it
Here is my update for this week. Binary Brain Wave may very well CHANGE MY LIFE. I added some other currency pairs, so I am looking at twelve charts. Personally I use a “sweet spot” on the charts. Prior to :50 I look at all of the charts and see which ones exhibit what I am looking for. If BBW gives me a signal on any of my choices I execute the trade. I am ITM 100% of the time. The downside is that it means only one trade per day and it can occur during any of the sessions. I intend to trade this sweet spot for the next few weeks and see how many losses I have, if any. I will keep you posted.
Does Binary Brain Wave work on charts other than the 6 that they say to use? Does that mean that all the intelligence is in the program installed on my computer and nothing is coming from them in real time? How do your results compare on pairs they recommend vs. other pairs?
I have only tested the 6 they say to use.
Gives me more than enough signals.
Hi Jennifer, what exactly is the “sweet spot” you are referring to?
To answer some of the questions put to me:
Regarding the “sweet spot” I mentioned a few days ago. I was using an indicator and trading in certain conditions. It does not jive with the instructions given by BBW and I do not want to propagate the idea. I used it twice the week before last, then every day last week, and I was ITM each time. I want to be able to trade more than once per day though, so I have not used it at all this week and instead have been focusing on my proficiency in identifying ranging conditions. I am getting better at it and am really excited.
I mentioned this the other day and it is now widely discussed; the software does indeed give signals after :50 and before :55. They only show up on the charts and they do not pop-up nor go to your email. They are fine signals to trade – in ranging conditions, of course.
In addition to the six currency pairs recommended by BBW I am also trading AUDNZD, GBPCHF, EURGBP, USDCAD, USDCHF, and GBPJPY.
If anyone is confused about what a chart looks like when in ranging conditions, John gives an example in the video above. Take a look at it. It will steer you in the right direction.
Are the results of your 6 additional pairs similar to the others? BBW says not to use anything except the six pairs they support.
I just traded the GBPCHF ITM within the past hour. Yes, they do work. I got the idea from FXPhil over on FRN.
As long as I am here I will give my update for the week.
I believe I finally have a grasp of ranging versus trending. I have been struggling with it since I purchased the software on April 1st.
What I was doing was looking back a couple of hours and zooming in and out, trying to identify within that couple of hours whether I had a range or a trend.
I had a “Eureka!” moment last night. Scroll up and look at the screen shot of the EURUSD on March 27th. Look at everything about that screen shot. Emulate the way that looks on your charts. Bada boom, bada bing… range/trend becomes immediately apparent.
I am going to leave the additional six pairs on my chart for now. My experiment for next week will be to see how many of those extra pairs I trade. With twelve pairs I have to maximize each of my charts to see range/trend. I think I would rather have only the six pairs, if they have enough trades, so that I can see range/trend without having to touch the chart.
Jennifer are using like the Bollinger Bands to determine if the pair is in ranging or trending mode? I did scroll up and down and I can notice the trending and ranging when you go back between 2 to 6 hours. Can you share the indicator that you’re using? I have done FX before but I think Binary will be more profitable. Can’t wait to read your results…
Hi Jennifer,
Really interested on your trades as been reading your experiences while on hols. Loaded all the software and done some checking today and seems good! Bit nervous about websites like this as you don’t know which posts are deleted!
Kind of interested in your “sweet spot”, do you just trade under ADX 25 or some other strategy? Hope your still having success because naturally its everyones goal to be successful,
Hope your still doing well.
Best regards,
Troy Smith
Email on request…
Is there a trend indicator that makes sense to use with Binary Brain Wave to help signal whether or not we should take the trade, something like an ADX less than 30 or 25? I look forward to your feedback.
Thanks
I’m looking into it, I prefer eye test right now.
There is easy ways of detecting trend with various technical analysis. The easiest and most common is the Bollinger Band set 20 2(standard setting in mt4).
Trend market :the bands will be all crazy up down around (lines are far apart and not straight)
Range Market :the bands will close together almost straight (narrow channel with very little space between top band and lower band)
Merging technical analysis with candlestick formations is the best policy always. Just don’t get lost in the indicators, price action or previous price history is always KING
Hi Jhon!
some question, can you share this month performance?,ITM %, how many signals per day/pair? i love trading asian sessions, enought signals at asian?
Thanks
Hello.. Over 80%itm this month. There are enough signals in all sessions.
Hi John, i first started using BBW two nights ago (New Zealand time) and the results have been satisfactory but i have noticed one idiosyncrisy that is interesting. Often BBW does not send signals through in scenarios where there has been a perfect example of a clear definitive range in a currency pair, that looks very tradable. On the other hand it seems to send signals through in many scenarios where a trend has been in evidence for quite some time. In these latter incidences BBW’s signal always advises to go against the trend; therefore we can say that BBW is predicting the end of the trend. Where this has been the case; of the signals i have actioned i have been ITM on at least two thirds of them. Once i stop trading with my demo account and start trading for real though it is unlikely i will be as adventurous. Another matter that someone may be able to help me with is a problem i am having with the 24 Options trading platform. For trading in daytime hours (NZ Time) their platform does not allow me to select the required half hour expiration time until 5 minutes after the BBW signal has come through, ie; at 5 minutes to the hour. For example i receive the BBW signal at 2.50p.m, but i cannot set the trade for 3.30pm expiration until 2.55pm, and by then things can have changed dramatically and setting the trade as per the BBW signal is no longer desirable. Could someone who also trades in a similar western pacific time zone please advise if Citrade or Stockpair’s trading platforms also have this limitation? If they don’t then perhaps i should look at changing brokers. Thanking you, Craig.
HI John,
are you experiencing too with the email alert? even the testing is not working too. I hope I could find some answer here. Thank you!
Joy I would not spend too much time with that, concentrate on being able to identify the charts when the pair is trending or ranging; that’s the key for all this. Like Jennifer you should be able to just take a quick look and decide to go with the signal or not. I can tell you by experience that currencies are in ranging mode most of the time. The software is calculating most of the complex details for you anyhow, we just need to provide the other side which is to decide to go for it or not.
If anyone can help here, I had the software for a while now. I have the settings correct only I’m not sure if I set the broker GMT, correctly. I mean I have the local set up correctly which is -5 for I’m in the CDT (Central time with daylight savings in effect) time zone and not -6 without DST.
I haven’t been trading only observing the charts and yes, I’ve been checking the open, close, high, and low points on the MT4 chart for which I’ve seen a lot of losses I could’ve had so I figured my settings are wrong. My question is what should the brokerGMT be set to if the I have the regular Metatrader 4 platform? Right now it’s set on +3 due to DST.
I have the Alpari MT4 platform installed from the link BBW lists in the members area. Right now it’s +3.
It seems to me there does seem to be quite a number of OTM signals. I tested on my broker’s demo platform for two weeks live as the signals came in (even in the middle of the night, I learned to sleep for 50 minutes at a time, lol) then I started trading live using my own money two nights ago. I am taking a very conservative approach and am doing well.
One thing I want to mention because no one has said it yet. The charts will sometimes populate with signals between 30 seconds and 3 minutes after :50, even if the popup alert didn’t give a signal. So I sit and watch the charts until :54 to make sure the signals are finished. There have been times I have decided several minutes prior to signal time that I would take a trade if offered on a pair, only to not have the pair show on the popup. Lo and behold a few seconds to a few minutes later it shows up on the chart.
The other thing I am noticing is that many times I do not receive the email alert until quite awhile after the signals popup on MT4. I really don’t use the email alert anyway because I am at the computer every hour during my trading sessions anyways.
Thank-you Jennifer…. I too am experiencing the same thing
Ditto for signals occurring up to HH:55 and that these late signals are not shown in the Experts log nor in the Alert popup window. Additionally have seen several times, signals generated at HH:50 clear off in the next few minutes. When BBW was reinitialised on that chart, the signal came back.
Have reported this, with screen shots, to BBW support.
DeMarco go to this website (http://www.timeanddate.com/time/map/) and make sure you get the right GMT time. Your local GMT time is where you actually live and your LocalBroker GMT is where your broker is actually located. My broker is in the UK so the Broker GMT is 0 and I live in Virginia so my localGMT is -5…these settings are critical to get quality signals. Hope this helps.
Hi
John can you help me why I could not receive any signal today. Tnx
I have not received any signal today. Is there somebody here with same experience? Tnx
Re: Binary Brainwave:, Can you inform me which brokers have 40 minute expiry times. I have looked at (but not enquired) expiry times of several brokers and they offer; 1min, 5 min, 10 min. 15 min. and 30 min, 1+ hr, expiry times. Can they adjust to 40 mins too? Thank you for having your helpful site. from Charissa
It uses the next hours 30 minute expiry time. So it uses 30 minute expiry times.
You get a trade at 1:50 you go on your broker and select 2:30 expiry time.
Hi Charis,
I recommend TopOption – they have always :30 expiry and it’s an EU-regulated broker!
