I’m John. I’m a 35 year old from Toronto, Canada who makes a living trading binary options. I believe that I am one of the luckiest people alive.

Not many people get to pursue their hobby and passion as a career. I am not a millionaire or someone who aspires to have a lot of wealth. My main goal is to teach, communicate and learn from others. I am always trying to get better at everything I do in life, whether it is trading, video games or personal fitness.

My Story

I used to work for an IT sales company and while I enjoyed the communication I had with clients, the job itself was just that, a job. It got to the point where I just didn’t care anymore. I didn’t want to go into work and even worse, I felt myself losing passion.

I decided the best thing for me to do to instill some of this lost passion would be to take up a hobby. As someone who was always interested in trading I had a client turn me onto binary options. Next thing I knew I was having conversations with this client every second day and learning on the go.

My hobby quickly took over my life as I started reading books and forums, even when I was at work! It really wasn’t even the money that intrigued me with binary options trading, it was the thrill. It made me feel alive.

A year after I started trading I was making a sustainable enough income, so I quit my job.

The Reason Behind Binary Today?

With this blog, I want to be able to share my experiences and create an honest place for traders alike. I know that this website will benefit others but myself as well. Binary Today will keep me active in achieving my goals and let me communicate regularly with other traders. This will help me learn and grow as a trader, which is very important to me.

I plan on providing traders with what I have learned, what binary options software to trust, what brokers are secure and more.

Looking Ahead

While many have abandoned the binary options market, Binary Today is still very active. Many traders were scared away for very good reason. There were many unscrupulous and unregulated brokers and trading products that lost traders a lot of money. Now, if those traders listened to the advice here, they would have been saved a lot of misfortune.

That being said, there are still ways to be profitable trading binary options. Traders can now utilize Forex brokers, and even trade binary options in MT4 which makes unregulated brokers a thing of the past.

All of the products that I recommend are signal systems, which means you can do whatever you want with the signals. You can place trades in MT4, or with your binary options broker, it’s totally up to you. Many of the readers here are with Binary.com, HighLow, Nadex, and a few other responsible platforms.

It’s certainly not the end of the road, it’s just time for traders to take a new path, and find new ways to succeed.
